REV Birmingham (REV) and Five Points South are proud to present the 30th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This four-day celebration takes place March 14th – 17th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and features a parade, live music, bagpipers, food and drink specials at Five Points-area restaurants and bars. The call for parade participants is open until March 7th.
The 30th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade procession will begin at the Alys Stephens, travel through Five Points South and end at Cobb Lane. Starting at 11am and following the parade, live music from Hooley & Marc Gunn, Irish dancers from Drake School of Irish Dance and bagpipers from Alabama Pipes and Drums will travel to various Five Points South venues and entertain guests throughout the area. Attendees can also dine and drink in festive, St. Patrick’s Day-themed atmospheres of participating Five Points businesses from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“We’re encouraging everyone in Birmingham to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long in Five Points South,” said REV Birmingham Five Points South District Manager James Little. “This area is Birmingham’s Culinary and Entertainment District and home to some of the best restaurants and bars in the country. This event has become Birmingham’s ultimate St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.”
